Another eventful year is behind us - with many beautiful, funny and also challenging moments. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your loyalty, the great encounters and your trust! ♥ In the coming year, we would like to continue to develop and enjoy our place together with you. Please let the sun goddess continue to be kind to us in 2025, and we only wish for rain at night. 😊
With this annual letter, we would like to inform you about news as usual. In the future, current information will continue to be found on our website under "News/Permanent campers". You will receive the annual letters and invoices by post in February as usual. If there are any changes that do not correspond to your approval, you can clarify them with us by the end of December.
Important changes and information for 2025:
Pitch rent:
The pitch rent will be increased by the necessary adjustment of a total of €20 per year. Since the tourist tax, which previously averaged €17, is no longer applicable, you only have to pay an additional €3 per year. This means that the increase for you remains minimal.
In addition, the municipality of Simmerath is introducing an overnight stay tax of 5% of the gross rent from 2025. For the regular pitch rent of €1210, this results in an additional tax of €60.50 per year, which we pass on directly to the municipality. The additional costs of the K pitches are exempt from this tax. The overnight stay tax is shown separately on the invoice.
Payment window:
Payments are made after receipt of the invoice in the period from March 11, 2025 to March 20, 2025 at the latest. Please remember to transfer on time to keep the administrative effort to a minimum.
E-charging stations:
We are still working on installing e-charging stations in front of the pitch. Unfortunately, this is proving more challenging than expected. Nevertheless, we are staying on track to implement this project for you.
Full lawn service:
The voluntary full lawn service remains as before and will cost €110 next year. The transfer will be made between March 1st and 10th, 2025, stating the pitch number and name. Unfortunately, we can no longer add latecomers - thank you for your understanding.
Electricity prices:
The prices per kW remain unchanged for 2025 at €0.60 per kW.
Other:
Electronic waste and bulky waste can still only be registered by email at info@camp-hammer.de. Please state your pitch number, name and type of waste.
Our business fiber optic connection was expanded and improved again in November, so that we are now even more efficient for the future.

Additional information for winter months
1. Only the composting toilets and the main sanitary building can be used, all other sanitary areas are out of service due to the risk of frost
2. The water and sewage system cannot be used directly at the pitches due to the risk of frost and we do not charge for it. The sewage system is sealed. Even if it gets warm, it will remain unusable until March
3. If you are interested in using the sauna and/or hot tub, you should discuss it with us in the medium term as it takes a longer lead time in winter due to sub-zero temperatures. You operate the services yourself (heating the hot tub and heating the sauna)
4. The cafe only has a very limited range of opening hours and food on offer
5. In the winter months you can buy baked goods yourself in the Nahkauf in Eicherscheid. Distance approx. 3 km, EC withdrawals are also possible there

From January 1st, 2025, the municipality of Simmerath will charge a flat rate overnight stay (tax) for permanent and tourist campers. We cannot yet say how this will work. We will keep you updated...
